Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') applies to everyone who uses services provided by Beluga AI Ltd, including the Agent Beluga platform and the other products and white-label services we operate. It exists to protect our customers, their end users, and the platform itself from abuse. It forms part of our Terms of Service — breaking it can result in suspension or termination.

Prohibited content & activity

You must not use the Service to create, transmit, or knowingly receive content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any person.
  • Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
  • Promotes illegal goods or services, regulated industries you are not licensed to operate in, or activities that pose a risk of physical or financial harm.
  • Impersonates another person or business or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone.
  • Generates sexually explicit content involving minors, content that promotes self-harm, terrorism, or any other content prohibited by our underlying model providers' usage policies.

Calls, SMS, and messaging rules

We provide telephony, SMS, email, and chat features. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the UK GDPR, the EU ePrivacy rules, the TCPA, and CAN-SPAM where applicable. In particular you must:

  • Only contact people who have given a valid legal basis for the type of communication (consent, contract, or legitimate interest where appropriate).
  • Honour opt-out and Do Not Call requests promptly and maintain suppression lists.
  • Identify your business clearly in messages and calls.
  • Not call or message at unsocial hours in the recipient's local time, unless they have asked you to.
  • Not use the Service for cold spam, mass unsolicited campaigns, or list rental from unknown third parties.

AI disclosure

Where required by law — including the EU AI Act (Article 50, applying from 2 August 2026) where you serve EU users — you must disclose to recipients that they are interacting with an AI system. The Service provides tooling to support this — you are responsible for switching it on where applicable.

Copyright & IP complaints — notice and takedown

Customers can upload content to the Service (for example photos, documents, and attachments). If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, email support@agentbeluga.com with the subject line "IP Complaint" and include:

  • Identification of the work you claim is infringed and evidence that you own or represent the rights.
  • The location of the allegedly infringing content (URL or enough detail for us to find it).
  • Your name and contact details.
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.

On receiving a valid notice we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the content, in line with our obligations as a hosting provider under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002. We also accept notices in the form set out in the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers, and we may pass your notice to the customer who uploaded the content.

System integrity

You must not:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or networks connected to it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data not belonging to you.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service outside published APIs.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our models, prompts, or training data.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service.

Resale and white-labelling

You may use the Service inside your own business as much as you like. Reselling, sublicensing, or offering the Service to third parties as a stand-alone product requires a separate written agreement with us.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using the Service in breach of this policy — for example sending spam, scams, or unwanted calls — please report it to support@agentbeluga.com. We investigate every report.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access without notice where we reasonably believe a breach has occurred or where required by a regulator. Where possible we will give you the chance to remedy the issue first. We may report serious or repeated violations to law enforcement.
